Quite a wonderful side table, if I am allowed to say so. A somewhat imposingly thick top sits upon hand carved legs (which are partially covered in milk paint). The top has a gouged texture.
Southern Yellow Pine is a wonderful wood. While it is a bit soft (and therefore will take on dings more quickly than most hardwoods) it is very sturdy and should last for ages.
